Now all you do is contact those websites directly and buy ads from them.
This is extremely targeted traffic. Because people that are visiting these websites because they are interested in your "category"
For example one of the persons that signed up for affiliate networks, sells an info product on "How to Train Your Horse". Now normally you would think the only way to advertise this product online is with Google, PPC or SEO. But if you do a quick look up in Alexa:
